We had some friends to dinner a couple weeks ago, and they brought what is quite possibly the best hostess gift ever:
Breakfast for the morning after, Featuring BATTER BLASTER, the pre-fab, pressurized pancake/waffle batter. Pancakes aren't just for weekends anymore!
It's actually really tasty. Super easy. And organic. WOO!

And after some inspection its not that bad for you...almost 0 fat and only 110 calories or so per quarter cup of batter.

BATTER BLASTER?? Pressurized waffles and/or pancakes?? That sounds so bizarre and awesome in the same breath. Where can I get me some of that? Did you take pictures of it in use?

I would love to see a television commercial for this product that contains the following elements:
-a sanitized, Fresh Prince-style hip-hop soundtrack with lots of "whickity-whickity-whack" turntable scratching
-a suburban housewife making exaggerated hip-hop hand gestures while wearing a sideways baseball cap
-her impressed kids saying, "Mom, you're tha BOMB!" when the Batter Blaster pancakes are served
-a rapping granny wearing a Flavor Flav clock who busts out something like "Gitcha Batta Blasta, gitcha pancakes fasta, you a breakfast masta, PEACE!!

Batter blaster is what happens to me in the bathroom after I've stupidly ordered the pancakes at Coco's after a hard night of drinking.
